Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement to use the Service. By using Ting, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
Your account
To use most features you need an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Using the Service
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the Service in line with these Terms. You agree to use Ting lawfully and respectfully, and not to misuse it or interfere with how it works.
Your content and listings
You keep ownership of the content, listings and information you create or upload. By posting content, you grant us a licence to host, store, display and share it as needed to operate and promote the Service.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it. You are responsible for the accuracy of any property or listing information you publish. Listings must describe real offers and must not be misleading.
Messaging, calls and AI features
Ting lets you message other users and make voice and video calls. Calls may be recorded, transcribed and summarised so the features can work; do not use these features unlawfully.
The in-app AI assistant provides automated, general information to help you explore the Service. It may be inaccurate or incomplete and is not professional, legal, financial or real estate advice. Always verify important information independently before acting on it.
Premium subscriptions and payments
Some features are offered through paid subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us and Stripe to charge the applicable fees. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel future renewals at any time. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, you agree not to:
- Break any applicable law or infringe the rights of others
- Post false, misleading, fraudulent or unlawful listings or content
- Harass, threaten, impersonate or harm other users
- Upload viruses or harmful code, or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service
- Collect or scrape data about other users without permission
- Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, logos and content we provide, belongs to Ting or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute it except as allowed by these Terms or with our permission.
Third-party services
The Service relies on and may link to third-party services, such as maps, sign-in, payments and AI providers. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties, and their own terms and policies apply to your use of them.
Disclaimers
Ting is a platform that connects people and lets them share listings and information. We are not a real estate broker, agent or adviser, and we do not own, verify or guarantee any property, listing or user. The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service or any transaction or interaction between users.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Ting harmless from any claims, damages or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or if needed to protect the Service or its users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
Changes to the Service and these Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. When we change these Terms, we will revise the "last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
